Is it time for Modern Family to say goodbye? Recently, creators Steve Levitan and Christopher Lloyd spoke with The Hollywood Reporter about the future of the ABC TV show.
The long-running comedy is currently in its ninth season and stars Ed O’Neill, Sofía Vergara, Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet, Sarah Hyland, Ariel Winter, Nolan Gould, Rico Rodriguez, Aubrey Anderson-Emmons, and Jeremy Maguire.
Modern Family is about to celebrate its 200th episode, but how much longer will the show be on for? Levitan confirmed that ABC has ordered a 10th season, which is planned to be the last for the family comedy:
“Our plan is to end it at 10. If we can leave with most of our audience wanting more, I think that’s the right way to do it. Never say never, but I just can’t imagine that we’d go past that.”
The 200th episode of Modern Family airs on ABC tonight, January 10th, at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
What do you think? Do you watch Modern Family? How many more seasons would you like?
