Mom has some new company. TVInsider reports David James Elliott and Wendie Malick will guest star on season four of the CBS TV series.
The sitcom stars Anna Faris as Christy, a single mom going through recovery who moves back in with her mother (Allison Janney), who’s also going through recovery. The cast also includes Sadie Calvano, Matt Jones, Blake Garrett Rosenthal, and Mimi Kennedy.
In season four, Elliott will play “Joe, a (sober) restaurateur who Bonnie meets at a food festival…and finds herself drawn to.” Meanwhile, Malick has been cast as “Adam’s ex-wife, whose friendly relationship with him confounds Bonnie.”
The episodes are slated to debut in February.
