Moonlighting quickly made Bruce Willis a household name and revived Cybill Shepherd’s acting career. Unfortunately, backstage fighting caused the series to falter and it ended after 66 episodes. The series performers moved on to many other projects but now one half of the famous duo is ready to resurrect the series.
While promoting her Showtime film Open Window, Shepherd said that she’s gung-ho to reopen Blue Moon Investigations. Of a reunion, Shepherd said, “Why not? I’d love to. If we remake Moonlighting, Bruce Willis can still play David Addison. Hey Bruce, I’m ready to go to work again with you, baby!” She added with a smile, “I am so hot for Bruce Willis. He’s still hot.”
No word if Willis has the same interest as Shepherd but the actor has taken part in episode commentaries on the Moonlighting DVDs. Incidentally, Willis’ latest movie is the third sequel to the Die Hard movie. Die Hard launched Willis’ movie career while the actor was still working on Moonlighting. Stay tuned!
