What can you do? Remember, the ideal scenario for ABC is for many millions of people to watch the show on their television sets, while it’s being broadcast. Unfortunately, ratings are put together based on a sampling of viewers. If you’re a “Nielsen household,” your viewing is being counted. If not, it’s not.
However, if you like Mr. Sunshine and want to see it continue, there are a few things you can do to help.
- If you’re a Nielsen family, watch the show whenever it’s on. If not, watch it on ABC.com or purchase episodes online so your viewing will be directly counted. Encourage others to watch the show. You might know a Nielsen family and not be aware of it.
- Talk about the show with others; at school, at work, online, or wherever. Creating a buzz about a show that you’re invested in gets other people interested and might help bring former viewers back.
- Sign the petition below and encourage others to do the same.
- Write to the network. Be respectful. Everyone responds better to courtesy. Tell them how much you enjoy the show, that you’ve signed the petition, and that you want to see it continue. You can use this form or, even better, write via “snail-mail” to: Mr. Paul Lee, President, ABC, 500 S. Buena Vista Street, Burbank, CA 91521, RE: Mr. Sunshine
- Call the network at (818) 460-7477 and leave a comment. Be polite and tell them how much you like the show.
- Take note of the products that are advertised during the show. Write the advertisers and tell them that you appreciate their sponsoring the show and that you buy their products (if you do).

Mr Sunshine is the one guys, this is the type of series that should not be cancelled until season 3 is out. Matthew Perry is one of the best actor you can find since 1994. Since he can make Chandler famous worldwide, he sure can make Ben shine like a real Mr Sunshine. Please please continue the series. Me and my whole hostel will appreciate it very very much.

I loved the first 9 episodes!! It would be a shame to never air the remaining 4. It's also great to see Matthew Perry play another role that no one could have played better, i'm really loving this.

Very disappointed to learn that this show won't be returning for a second season. I thought it was so different-- cleverly written with a fantastic cast lead by Matthew Perry. Seems like you could try another time slot before cancelling. Please reconsider.

I was so an avid watcher. That was one of the "BEST!" shows Ive watched in some time. and I dont watch alot of crap on T.V. This was a show that just hit perfect. A great cast of actors and characters that just made you laugh out loud.

Mr. Sunshine was a great show with a wonderful cast that was never given a chance. Why does ABC keep moving crappy shows in and out of the Wednesday night line up. Here is what would be great...
The Middle, then Modern Family, then Mr. Sunshine, then Courgar town. None of the other shows you have tried have been as good as Mr. Sunshine.
Please bring it back and when is cougar town coming back. I am about ready to give up on "funny shows night".

I heard about this TV show from a friend of mine, then found out it was cancelled days after it was on TV. I watch it all the time on a website as i love Matthew Perry, he is my favourite actor and i love the show. It is so funny and is a completely awesome show. I do think you should put this show back on, I would also love to buy the episodes for myself. This show definetly deserves another chance!

In combat there are very few things that keep us smiling. However, when my Soldiers and I come in from Patrols Mathew Perry's unique and one of a kind mannerisms and Humor lift our spirits and keep us laughing. When I got back I was pretty bummed to find out it had been canceled. I know I'm just one voice and TV is a numbers game but, I would really enjoy to have it back and I know plenty of Soldiers who would as well. Thank you for your time and I hope that it makes back on for another season.

I loved this show. I didn't even realize it was on until I found it online. As a new adoptive mother of 3 and an elementary teacher, I rarely get to watch live tv. I've been waiting for more episodes and didn't realize it was cancelled. If this show could be given another chance that would be great. If not, please show the episodes that were already made.
