The British shows are all blurring together. Digital Spy reports Doctor Who’s Paul McGann and Game of Thrones‘ Richard Dormer have been cast in season three of The Musketeers.
Earlier, we reported the third season would be the last for the BBC adventure series.
In the new season, Dormer will play “a former soldier turned tavern owner who forces our heroes to question the notion of justice in a deeply divided, war-torn Paris.” The actor previously played Lord Beric on Game of Thrones.
McGann, who played the eighth doctor on Doctor Who, has been cast a “wealthy nobleman” who comes into conflict with the musketeers.
The third and final season of The Musketeers will premiere this May.
What do you think? Do you watch The Musketeers? Are you sad it’s ending? What do you hope happens in the final season?
