My Own Worst Enemy: Petition NBC to Keep the TV Show on the Air

Christian Slater plays a man with two identities. Unfortunately, not many viewers are tuning in to watch either one. Despite having the action of the Bourne Identity movies, the audience just isn’t showing up to watch My Own Worst Enemy. Does the TV show need more time, a relaunch or a change of timeslot?

Unfortunately, we may never know because NBC abruptly cancelled Worst Enemy. Would you like to see it continue? Perhaps on another channel, in a different timeslot? Or how about a conclusion to the ongoing storylines!

There are a few things you can do…. Tell your friends and family to watch the show, either on TV or online. Sign the petition below. Write to the network. Politely tell them how you feel about the show and that you’ve signed the petition. Pass the word. It’s not a secret.

We, the undersigned, have greatly enjoyed the new NBC TV show, My Own Worst Enemy. We are upset that the series has been cancelled. We ask that you continue to produce and air the show so that it will have a chance at growing a larger audience.

The timeslot is obviously not working. Why not try another? You have put a lot of time and money into promotion. Why throw that all away so quickly?

If necessary, we ask that you find a new channel in the NBC Universal family to air it or, at the very least, bring the series to a fulfilling conclusion. There are millions of viewers who enjoy this program each week. Why throw that away?

Why on earth end it on a cliff hanger.... I loved it, Christian Slater and the rest of the cast had the most amazing characters ,all very strong and storyline for gripping. I think in the rigth hands. Handled by someone who knows what they are doing, My own worst enemy ,would fly bring it back.

Please bring back My own worst enemy. It was very creative and action packed. Well written and Christian Slater does a great job. Please at least give the awesome show a great ending I just watched the last aired episode number nine and I am left hanging please PLEASE!! It's a fantastic and great show please bring it back thank you so much.

We need to have the show back on the air. I purchased the d v d and could not believe there were only 9 episodes. that was giving the show a chance.

My Own Worst Enemy.... an amazing show that ranks with the best. I bought the dvd set without having heard of the show. When I finished the final episode I just wanted to know what happened next. Thinking that there was another set I looked online only to find the show had been cancelled. I could not understand why. Grade A actors - The actors make each charachter so believable that you could think that they might be your own neighbor. Amazing story - Yes it may seem like yet another Jekyll/Hyde story but this one takes it even further with added mystery. It even has a little something for everyone; action, suspense, drama and even a little romance. All I can say is BRING MY OWN WORST ENEMY BACK!!

You have to bring this back! So many great shows are thrown out just because some tv guy wants more money's for viewings. I'm not huge into tv, never was but I got hooked on this show immediately.

Please reconsider bringing back My Own Worst Enemy, or at least film a conclusion to this great TV show. Unfortunately in the UK we aren't able to catch the US shows when they are on. However, there this show would have more likely to have been given more season, like Spooks (10)! Please networks think of the money to be made exporting shows like this to other countries and not the short term ratings. Thank you.

Please, bring back My own worst enemy, I love that show, when it was on tv, it was my favorite show that year and I was watching it almost 3 times in 2 days, the fisrt time I was peaking during the comercials while watching another show, keeping the best for last (My own worst enemy) , I was watching it at later time slot on a other chanel, and taping all that I could watch during other shows and also at the end My own worst enemy... the nest day I watch the tapes of those tv shows and again My own worst enemy... if not bring it back... at least could you make a mini-series or a movie so it have a better ending Thank you !

I'm writing this letter from small country near the Black Sea - Eastern Europe. This country is Bulgaria. Exactly like the one in 7th episode 🙂 We can't watching your TV programs, because we haven't got NBC, but we can watch your shows like "My Own Worst Enemy" even if they coming after a half year ago. Christian Slater is a great actor with undisputed talent. One of my favorites. I think that You must continue making the show because it's a true gold. I've been watching many shows like "Supernatural", "House MD", and i thing this one is from their rating and quality. Respect for the creators and scenarists. Please bring back my favorite show. Sorry for my english. I'll be waiting

I would really like to see this show back on the air. I truly enjoy seeing an actor of his stature make an ordinary role so appealing to the common man. If there's anything I could do to help ensure that this show comes back on the air then I would absolutely LOVE to do so!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE reconsider airing My Own Worst Enemy. Thanks to Hulu I found out about it, and I imagine coming on after I used to watch 24 on Fox is why I missed it. But had I known, I would definitely have watched. I watched 8.5 episodes in one day, and have just finished the 9th. It was so exciting, thrilling, interesting, and suspenseful. I had no idea I wasn't watching a current show and only found out that it had been cancelled, when I went online to find out what its timeslot is in order to begin watching the new episodes.... That sadly, do not exist. Christian Slater was excellent in both roles, and all of the other actors went well with him. The characters were great (was sorry that Tony was shot), and there's so much more to do with this storyline, that I can't imagine there isn't a network that would want to give it a try. Some of us are really tired of reality TV, which isn't real. I'll live my life, please bring back something that provided a supreme fantasy that I can totally live with watching. I don't watch much TV, some online. This is a show that I would watch religiously each week it were to come on, just like I watched 24 for all of its years. Please please reconsider. Thank you.

NBC, you followed in the footsteps of FOX when you cancelled MOWE. FOX did the same thing with Firefly and found out they really dropped the ball. Years and years later the Browncoats still clamor for the return of the Serenity. SO, now you've cancelled MOWE (actually, you did so almost three years ago now. I just watched the whole thing from beginning to "end" and cannot believe you didn't give it a better chance.) I read many responses to your doing so and find myself wondering if you care enough to read them too. Bad move, NBC, cancelling this intelligent and interesting show. Reality TV panders to the mindless. Is that what you'd prefer to call your audience?
