Mystery Road is coming to the small screen. Variety reports the Australian film is being adapted as a TV series starring Aaron Pedersen and Judy Davis.
The 2013 film stars Pedersen as Jay Swan, a detective who solves crimes in the Australian Outback. A sequel, called Goldstone, was released in 2016.
The six-part Mystery Road TV show will see Pedersen reprise his role as Jay Swan alongside new cast member Judy Davis. Rachel Perkins will direct the series, which is set to debut on ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation).
