The mystery is dead at Netflix. Deadline reports the streaming service has cancelled their Mystery Science Theater 3000 revival after two seasons.
An updated version of the Comedy Central/Syfy series, the show stars Jonah Ray as Jonah Hetson, a human test subject who must watch and comment on terrible B-movies with robot friends. Other cast members include Patton Oswalt, Felicia Day, Baron Vaugh, and Hampton Yount.
On Twitter, Jonah Ray announced Netflix will not be renewing Mystery Science Theater 3000 for a third season. See Ray’s tweets below:
