If your life was depicted on a TV show, would you want to see the series before it was released? The Escobars would. Variety reports Pablo Escobar’s brother, Roberto, has requested to view season two of the Netflix series Narcos before it premieres.
The drama depicts the life of Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar and his cartel. The cast includes Wagner Moura, Boyd Holbrook, Pedro Pascal, Joanna Christie, and Maurice Compte.
Escobar released a statement, explaining why he wants to review the upcoming season:
It is depicting me, my life, my family and my brother. I think nobody else in the world is alive to determine the validity of the materials, but me.”
Netflix has yet to respond to the request.
Season two of Narcos debuts on September 2nd.
