There’s a shakeup over at Narcos. Deadline reports that season two showrunner Adam Fierro has left the Netflix series midway through production.
Season one of Narcos debuted on Netflix this August.
The drama, which follows the exploits of Colombian drug kingpin Pablo Escobar and the Medllin Cartel, was created by Carlo Bernard and Doug Miro. Chris Brancato helmed the series for its 10-episode first season before handing over the reins to Fierro.
Now, Fierro, who has previously worked on The Walking Dead and The Shield, has departed due to unknown reasons. Despite the setback, the series will continue production on season two.
In September, Netflix renewed the drama for a second season. And more recently, Narcos was nominated for two Golden Globes, including one for Best Television Series—Drama.
What do you think? Do you watch Narcos? Would do you hope happens in season two?
