NBC is taking on single dads. Deadline reports the network has committed to a new script from Elizabeth Banks and Warner Bros. TV.
Written by Sam Pitman and Adam Cole-Kelly, the comedy “centers on a 30-something father who’s trying to navigate his life a year after his wife suddenly dies: how to live, date, parent, etc., all with the unrelenting, unsolicited advice of his in-laws, parents, friends, wife’s friends and nanny — aka his new makeshift family.”
Pitmand and Cole-Kelly will executive produce the untitled project alongside Banks and Max Handelman.
