NBC TV Show Ratings for 2012-13 Season, Week Six

The peacock network didn’t win week five in the 18-49 demographic but NBC claims victory of week six — and five of the first six weeks — of the 2012-13 season (October 29-November 4).

They make particular mention of 30 Rock, Chicago Fire, Dateline, Grimm, Guys with Kids, Law & Order: SVU, Revolution, Rock Center with Brian Williams, and The Voice.

NBC has won week 6 in adults 18-49 with its highest in-season rating (3.1) since Super Bowl Week. NBC has now won five of the season’s first six weeks in 18-49 for the first time in 10 years.

NBC is #1 season to date in 18-49 through six weeks for the first time in 10 years.

NBC is up 24% versus last season (to a 3.1 rating from a 2.5) and has moved from #4 at this point last year to #1 this year. NBC’s 3.1 is its highest week-six season average in five years (since 2007).

In Week 6, NBC is up 35 percent versus Week 6 last year (with a 3.1 rating vs. a 2.3). The other Big 4 networks are all flat or down versus the same week last year.

NBC has 3 of the top 4 programs of the week in 18-49, #1 Sunday Night Football, #3 Monday’s The Voice and #4 Tuesday’s The Voice (rankings exclude sports pre- and post-game show).

Note that all regularly scheduled programs from Monday, Oct. 29 to Saturday November 3 are reported as breakouts by Nielsen due to the impact of Hurricane Sandy. Breakouts are included in overall primetime averages but are not included in season-to-date programming averages
