NCIS will see the exit of Michael Weatherly at the end of this season. Many fans have wondered if the actor’s departure from the CBS series meant that Cote de Pablo would return. The pair and their almost relationship was a favorite of fans. With his exit, fans wanted Tony to leave and be with Ziva.
If Tony and Ziva could not be together on the show, at least they could walk off into the sunset together. That does not look like it will happen through. According to TV Line, Cote de Pablo revealed at an event promoting her latest project over the weekend that she would not appear on the finale for season 13.
However, Ziva will be mentioned in some way during Tony’s exit. Gary Glasberg, the executive producer of the series, said the following:
“You can’t have Tony leave the show and not get into that in some respect, so plan on it being discussed and handled, even if it’s in background.”
