Are the Harts coming to NCIS? In a recent interview with TVLine, series showrunner Gary Glasberg discussed the possibility of a Hart to Hart reunion on the CBS drama.
Hart to Hart starred Robert Wagner and Stefanie Powers as a married couple who also moonlight as amateur detectives. The series ran on ABC from 1979 to 1984.
On NCIS, Wagner has a recurring role as the father of Michael Weatherly’s Tony DiNozzo. In the interview, Glasberg said he’s a huge fan of Hart to Hart and has discussed a possible reunion of Wagner and Powers:
I was a huge Hart to Hart fan and [Wagner] knows that, so yeah, we talk about it. It wouldn’t surprise me if at some point down the road, now that I’ve got a two-season pickup, it happens. Who knows. Stranger things could happen! But [Wagner] knows I’m a fan, that’s for sure.”
