In the season of giving, NBC has announced the charities for which The New Celebrity Apprentice TV show contestants will be competing. Hosted by Arnold Schwarzenegger, The New Celebrity Apprentice premieres Monday, January 2, 2017 at 8:00pm on NBC.

Series Has Raised More Than $15 Million for Charity With Hopes That Arnold Schwarzenegger-Led Season Will Be Biggest Yet

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. — Nov. 21, 2016 — Sixteen celebrities will compete for their favorite charities on “The New Celebrity Apprentice” as it shifts to Los Angeles where twice-elected California governor, successful businessman and international movie superstar Arnold Schwarzenegger reigns over the boardroom.

The highly anticipated season launches Monday, Jan. 2 at 8 p.m. on NBC.

“I am incredibly proud that ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ has donated over $15 million to different charities during its seven seasons on NBC,” said executive producer Mark Burnett. “Philanthropy has been an important part of the show and we look forward to continuing the tradition.”

Celebrity contestants will compete in challenging business-driven tasks more focused than ever on technology and innovation, testing their ability to work together as a team while raising money and awareness for their favorite causes. Each episode will conclude with a compelling boardroom showdown when Schwarzenegger evaluates the performances of all of the players before deciding which team wins the challenge and who will be sent home. The season will conclude with an exciting two-part finale Feb 6 and Feb. 13.

Over the course of the series, “The Celebrity Apprentice” has raised more than $15 million for charity. This season’s winner will gain the coveted title of the Celebrity Apprentice and a $250,000 check to give to their designated charity.
