Get ready for more New Girl. TVLine reports FOX will begin airing two episodes of the comedy series a week, beginning next month.
The FOX TV show stars Zooey Deschanel, Jake Johnson, Max Greenfield, and Lamorne Morris as roommates.
New Girl’s fifth season got a late premiere this year due to star Deschanel’s pregnancy. Because it started in January, FOX says the scheduling change is the only way to fit in all of the season’s 22 episodes.
But could this be a sign that FOX is getting ready to end the series? So far, ratings for season five have been low, with an average of 1.22 in the 18-49 demo and only 2.76 million viewers.
The new two-a-week schedule for New Girl begins April 19th.
