Will there be another season of The Next Step? According to WhatsFilming, there will be a sixth season of the Family Channel TV show.
The Canadian drama centers on a group of teen dancers who are studying at the Next Step Dance Studio. The cast includes Shelby Bain, Victoria Baldessarra, Alexandra Beaton, Devon Brown, and Alexandra Chaves.
Family Channel hasn’t announced a season six renewal for The Next Step yet, but WhatsFilming reports the show will be filming a new season in Canada this summer. According to the show’s wiki, season six is expected to consist of 30 episodes. As of reporting, Family Channel has not confirmed the news.
However, a renewal seems more than likely considering auditions have already been held for a sixth season (see Instagram post below):
