The Night Manager: No Season Two Says Tom Hiddleston

The Night Manager

The Night Manager will premiere on AMC on April 19, and the cast is out promoting the mini-series event based on the novel by John le Carré. The series, which stars Tom Hiddleston and Hugh Laurier, caused excitement when it aired on BBC1, and there have been rumors of a possible second season in the works.

Both Hiddleston and Laurie have spoken out to deny those rumors. The series completed its story by covering the entire novel.

According to Radio Times, Hiddleston said the following:

“As it stands, Pine exists for six hours in a mini-series. The story feels complete. I know the rumors about it extending, but none of that is real.”

Laurie confirmed the statement made by his co-star. He said:

“It’s based on a novel, we’ve got to the end of the novel and John le Carré has yet to write another novel, so in cold practical terms, no, we’re done.”
