No Tomorrow: New CW Comedy Picked Up for 2016-17 Season

The CW TV shows: canceled or renewed?

Carpe diem. According to Variety, The CW has picked up the new series No Tomorrow for the 2016-17 season.

The network has also given a series order to the Archie Comics drama Riverdale and supernatural police series Frequency.

From Jane the Virgin writer Corinne Brinkerhoff and Maggie Friedman, No Tomorrow centers on a straight-laced female manager who falls for a free-spirited man who believes in an imminent apocalypse. Together, the two “embark on a quest together to fulfill their individual bucket lists, to comedic and poignant results.”

The series stars Tori Anderson, Josh Sasse, Sarayu Blue, Amy Pietz, Jesse Rath, and Jonathan Langdon.
