TV show description:
Lifelong buddies Derrick (Taran Killam) and Will (Paul Campbell) are fed up with the quality of the current TV sitcoms and send off a video message chiding Hollywood network executives.

The bigwigs respond and the friends are flown in to meet WB network executive Jeff Tucker (Paul Adelstein), Creative VP Roy Ingold (Bob Clendenin), and Tucker’s assistant Jill “Something” (Lauren Bittner).

The executives challenge the friends to create a better sitcom and assign camera crews to film them in action for a reality show.

Derrick and Will present their interpretation of six seasons of According to Jim in 60 seconds.

There hasn’t been any news of plans to revive the show.

Behind the Scenes

The pilot never aired on television but was released via YouTube where it grew in popularity. There was talk of the project being revived for television but it never happened.
Killam and Campbell did however return in a series of 12 webisodes. The last one was uploaded in January 2007. There were plans to air a TV special after that but it never materialized.
