One-Hour Stand-Up Special “Nikki Glaser: Perfect” to Premiere April 9, 2016

PASADENA, January 6, 2015 – Sex. Everyone has it, but few are willing to talk openly about it. For Nikki Glaser, no topic is off limits when Comedy Central premieres “Not Safe with Nikki Glaser.” Throughout the ten-episode first season, Glaser and her comedian friends will examine and discuss the things people do, the things people think about doing, and the things people would never do (but their friends just might). The unapologetic, honest and sometimes shocking multiplatform series premieres on Tuesday, February 9 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT, following the new season of “Tosh.0.” And for fans that can’t get enough of Glaser, her first one-hour original stand-up special “Nikki Glaser: Perfect” will premiere on April 9, 2016 (time TBA).

Self-proclaimed “curious perv” Nikki Glaser knows you’re having sex… and she wants to hear all about it. The first Comedy Central series to be introduced and developed across multiple social platforms before its linear launch, “Not Safe with Nikki Glaser” is a place for comics to joke, learn, and share their personal stories about sex and relationships. It’s a destination to discover, ogle, and laugh about all things sex through a fun, frank, fast-paced show with panel discussion, field pieces, and social experiments that is equal parts hilarious and titillating.

Already a robust multiplatform experience, “Not Safe” will continue to serve fans Glaser’s unique take on sex, dating, and relationships through commentary and games on Twitter, personal time with Glaser on Periscope, custom images on Instagram, and the Snapchat original series “Quickie with Nikki,” with new episodes posted every Tuesday on Comedy Central’s Discover channel on Snapchat.

Additionally, “Not Safe with Nikki Glaser” will produce digital exclusives and extended segments for cc.com and YouTube, offer weekly sneak peek and highlight clips, and fans of the series will be encouraged to share their own potentially “not safe” content with Glaser across multiple platforms.

“Not Safe with Nikki Glaser” is executive produced by Glaser, Chris Convy, showrunner Chris McGuire (“The Roast of Justin Bieber”) and Brillstein Entertainment Partners’ Alex Murray (“@midnight with Chris Hardwick”) and Brad Petrigala. Gary Mann and Tara Schuster are the Executives in Charge of Production for Comedy Central.

In addition to her new series, Glaser will premiere her first one-hour stand-up special “Nikki Glaser: Perfect” on April 9 (time TBA). The special was shot in New York City during the 2015 New York Comedy Festival and is executive produced by Glaser and Murray.

Glaser (@nikkiglaser), a stand-up comedian, writer and host, co-hosted MTV’s late-night talk show “Nikki & Sara LIVE” for two seasons and co-hosted the popular podcast “You Had To Be There.” She’s a New Yorker, often performing at clubs and touring as a national headliner. Glaser has performed stand-up on “The Tonight Show,” “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” “Conan,” and “Last Comic Standing.” She is a frequent competitor on Comedy Central’s “@midnight with Chris Hardwick,” and has appeared in several other Comedy Central series including, “Inside Amy Schumer,” “Adam Devine’s House Party,” “The Burn with Jeff Ross,” “The Half Hour,” and “Comedy Underground with Dave Attell.”

Comedy Central will offer fans who authenticate via their cable or satellite provider access to stream episodes of “Not Safe with Nikki Glaser” the day after air via the Comedy Central App and cc.com. “Not Safe with Nikki Glaser” will be available the day after air on iTunes, Microsoft Movies & TV, Amazon Video, Google Play, Vudu and Verizon Flexview. The Comedy Central App is available for free for iOS on the App Store, for Android on the Google Play store, and on Chromecast and Xbox One.
