TV show description:
Set at Miami’s Community Medical Center, the sitcom follows a group of nurses with a wide range of personalities and backgrounds; strong-willed Annie Roland (Arnetia Walker), sarcastic Sandy Miller (Stephanie Hodge), dim-witted Julie Milbury (Mary Jo Keenen), and Latina Gina Cuevas (Ada Maris).

Others working at the hospital include arrogant Dr. Hank Kaplan (Kip Gilman), wise-cracking orderly Paco Ortiz (Carlos Lacamara), hospital administrator Casey McAfee (Loni Anderson), and slimy white-collar ex-con Jack Trenton (David Rasche) who is forced to work at the hospital as part of community service work.

The series was created by Susan Harris and is a spin-off of Empty Nest.
