NYC 22: New TV Series Debuts April 15th

NYC 22 TV showCBS has certainly had a lot of success with legal and cop shows. Now, they’ve announced the debut of their newest one, NYC 22. Co-starring Terry Kinney (of ABC’s quirky and cancelled cop show The Unusuals) NYC 22 will debut on Sunday, April 15th. The new TV series will take the place of CSI: Miami.

“NYC 22,” A NEW CHARACTER-DRIVEN POLICE DRAMA, PREMIERES SUNDAY, APRIL 15, 10:00 PM

NYC 22, a new character-driven police drama, will premiere Sunday, April 15 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

NYC 22 follows six diverse NYPD rookies as they patrol the gritty streets of upper Manhattan. With unique backgrounds, personalities and reasons for being on the force, the new cops will make their share of rookie mistakes while they figure out how to relate to their boss, each other and the people they swore to protect.

The series stars Terry Kinney, Adam Goldberg, Leelee Sobieski, Stark Sands, Judy Marte, Harold “House” Moore, Tom Reed and Felix Solis.

Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal, Richard Price, Ken Sanzel and James Mangold are executive producers of NYC 22 for CBS Television Studios in association with Tribeca Productions. NYC 22 was created by Richard Price.

NYC 22 replaces CSI: MIAMI, which will have completed its full run of original episodes for the season.
