Ten years ago, Nick Garrett (Bryan Greenberg) left for the big city and became a best-selling writer by basing a novel on his small hometown of Knights Ridge, Massachusetts. Now, amidst the parties and social engagements, Nick has developed terrible writer’s block. He returns to his home on October Road in hopes of working through it and must face people that he’s avoided for the past ten years.
