Season three of The Odd Couple ended earlier this week, but will there be another season? CBS boss Glenn Gellar recently spoke to Deadline about the future of the CBS TV show.
The sitcom stars Matthew Perry as Oscar Madison, a sports writer who lives with his former college buddy, Felix (Thomas Lennon), an uptight neat freak. The cast also includes Lindsay Sloane, Wendell Pierce, and Yvette Nicole Brown.
The Odd Couple has been bringing in low ratings for a while now. Season three scored an average rating of 1.02 in the 18-49 demo and a total of only 4.994 million viewers — making it CBS‘ lowest-rated comedy for the 2016-2017 season. However, despite the low ratings, Gellar thinks the show still has a chance.
Speaking to Deadline, he said we have “not all all” seen the last of The Odd Couple and “[i]t can definitely come back for season 4.”
