NBC has already revived Will & Grace, but what other shows are they looking to bring back? Recently, NBC Entertainment chairman Bob Greenblatt revealed the TV shows he’d like to revive, Deadline reports.
Will & Grace is just the latest show to be rebooted. ABC has also ordered a Roseanne revival, Showtime is currently airing their Twin Peaks follow-up series, and The CW is premiering their Dynasty remake this fall.
But what about NBC? Which classic series would the network bring back? During this summer’s TCA press conference, Greenblatt said he’s open to a reboot of The Office:
We often talk about The Office, I’ve talked to Greg four times over the past few years. It’s always, ‘maybe some day but not now.’ There is certainly an open invitation but we don’t have anything happening right now. If he wants to do it, I would do it.”
Greenblatt then mentioned that he’s spoken with Tina Fey about maybe more 30 Rock, John Wells about more ER, and Aaron Sorkin about a West Wing revival:
I keep saying to him, ‘Do you want to do The West Wing again, wouldn’t it be great to do it?’ He says, ‘You know I love that show and some day I’d love to revisit it, but it’s not going to happen right now.’”
What do you think? Which NBC shows would you like to see revived?
