OJ: Made in America: ABC Docu-Series Begins in June

ABC has announced its documentary series, OJ: Made in America, from Ezra Edelman, premieres Saturday, June 11, at 9:00pm. The series is executive produced by John Dahl, Libby Geist, and Connor Schell.

It is the defining cultural tale of modern America – a saga of race, celebrity, media, violence, and the criminal justice system. And two decades after its unforgettable climax, it continues to fascinate, polarize, and even, yes, develop new chapters. Now, the producers of ESPN’s “30 for 30” have made it the subject of their most ambitious project yet. From Peabody and Emmy-award winning director Ezra Edelman, it’s “O.J.: Made in America,” a seven-hour, 45-minute documentary coming this summer to ABC and ESPN.

More than twenty years after Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman were killed, their murders are getting a lot of TV coverage. The first season of the FX crime anthology TV series, which recently concluded was American Crime Story: The People Vs. OJ Simpson.

Last month, Investigation Discovery ordered the Hard Evidence: OJ Is Innocent TV series, narrated by Martin Sheen. That series is expected to bow in 2017.
