OK KO! Let’s Be Heroes: Cartoon Network Orders New Animated Series

Cartoon Network TV Show: canceled or renewed?

OK KO! Let’s Be Heroes is a new series coming to television later this year, but it isn’t only a television series! The series will be connected to a video game, which is set to launch for PC this fall.

The new series will be shown on Cartoon Network. Deadline shared a bit about the new series:

“Created by Ian Jones-Quartey, and produced by Cartoon Network Studios, the action-packed show is set in Lakewood Plaza, a mall for heroes. The series follows K.O., an endlessly optimistic kid attempting to level up to be the best he can be in a dynamic universe of friends and challenging foes, including the evil Lord Boxman who is on a quest to destroy the plaza.”

Rob Sorcher, chief content officer for Cartoon Network, said the following about the new series, which will launch later this summer:

“This combined launch marks the culmination of a unique multi-media development process. The result is an entirely connected world which provides deeper satisfaction as fans get further into the property from every access point.”
