TV show description:
This debate program is conducted in a similar manner to a courtroom. A real judge presides over the discussions with two counselors, one from each side of an issue, arguing their own point of view. Expert witnesses (or authorities) give their input on various points.
Later in the show’s run, the format was altered slightly so that one point of view is given an entire episode and the opposing side is given in the next episode.
The program was moved all around the schedule for its first year or so on the air. For seasons two, thee and four, the network moved it less frequently.
