One Day at a Time just debuted its second season last month, but will there be a third? Recently, co-creator Gloria Calderón Kellett asked for help to get the Netflix TV show renewed.
Based on the original Norman Lear sitcom, the comedy centers on a multi-generational Cuban-American family. The cast includes Justina Machado, Rita Moreno, Todd Grinnell, Isabella Gomez, and Stephen Tobolowsky.
On Twitter, Kellett told followers to watch at least four episodes of One Day at a Time in the next few days to help the series get a third season. According to Kellett, Netflix bases renewal decisions on views and the show needs a boost.
See Kellett’s request below:
HUGE favor: If you want to support me & the show then PLEASE watch & tell friends & family to watch at least FOUR episodes in the next few days. Netflix decides what gets picked up based on views. I love this show & love writing this relatable family. PLEASE WATCH! Thank you.
