One Day at a Time is looking to spice things up for season two. Ed Quinn has been cast for Justina Machado’s character, per a Deadline report.
The news outlet shared the following about Quinn’s role on the Netflix comedy:
“Quinn will play an EMT who served with Penelope (Machado) in Kabul. They run into each other at the hospital, and sparks fly.”
Quinn has appeared on Eureka, 2 Broke Girls, and Mistresses.
