The One Day at a Time remake has added another person to its cast. The series recently added Rita Morena and Justina Machado.
On the Netflix series, Machado will play a former military mom raising two teens with the help of her grandmother. Stephen Tobolowsky has signed on to play the boss of Machado’s character.
Deadline revealed more about his role:
“Tobolowsky will play Penelope’s boss Dr. Berkowitz, the widowed lead doctor where she works and a potential love interest for Abuela (Moreno). Penelope keeps his office in order and often his personal life, too, because he is a sweet disaster.”
