The Originals will air its season three finale on CW later this week, and fans will see some big changes on the vampire drama as a result of the finale.
According to TV Guide, Michael Narducci teased the following about the finale and how it will change the series:
“The show is going to fundamentally shift forever. Every single one of our characters will be changed for the duration of the series,” he says. “Things are going to get bad and then there’s going to be a glimmer of hope that maybe, because of this family’s bond, they may have a million to one shot of surviving. On the other hand, they might not.”
One of the biggest changes that has been teased for the series is a teased move from New Orleans. That was mentioned during the crossover with The Vampire Diaries. When Caroline went to find Klaus, she was told he left the city three years ago. That time relates to the present time now being seen on The Originals.
