What can fans expect from the new season of The Originals? Recently, writer Carina MacKenzie confirmed the episode count for season five of the CW TV show.
A spin-off of The Vampire Diaries, the supernatural drama follows the Mikaelson family, the world’s first vampires who have returned to reclaim New Orleans. The cast includes Joseph Morgan, Daniel Gillies, Phoebe Tonkin, Charles Michael Davis, Yusuf Gatewood, and Riley Voelkel.
On Twitter, MacKenzie confirmed that season five of The Originals will contain 13 episodes. As reported earlier, the upcoming season will see a major shift for the The CW series.
