Orville has some new company. Deadline reports Mark Jackson has been cast in the upcoming Seth MacFarlane series from FOX.
Set in the future, the comedy “follows the adventures of the Orville, a not-so-top-of-the-line exploratory ship in Earth’s interstellar fleet.”
Jackson, who has appeared in the UK TV series The Royal Today and That Peter Kay Thing, has been cast as a member of the ship’s crew. He joins fellow series regulars MacFarlane, Peter Macon, J Lee, Adrianne Palicki, and Scott Grimes. FOX has already ordered 13 episodes of Orville. As of yet, a premiere date has not been announced.
