The Walking Dead creator, Robert Kirkman, and artist Paul Azaceta are the minds behind Image Comics’ Skybound imprint series, Outcast. Now the dynamic duo are bringing a live-action Outcast TV series to Cinemax. According to Kirkman, like The Walking Dead, the television version of Outcast will honor the stories told in the comics, while expanding upon them.
Outcast is the story of Kyle Barnes. Since childhood, the people in Barnes’ life have been plagued by demonic possession. With a minister’s help, and his own preternatural abilities, Barnes is determined to get to the bottom of this sinister situation. Outcast stars Patrick Fugit as Barnes; Philip Glenister as Reverend Anderson; and David Denman as Mark Holter.
