Penny Dreadful fans are in for a treat. Today, Showtime announced a followup comic book series will be released in 2017.
The supernatural drama, which explored the dark mysteries of the Victorian era, ended this summer after only three seasons. The cast included Josh Hartnett, Timothy Dalton, Eva Green, Reeve Carney, Danny Sapani, Harry Treadaway, Billie Piper, Rory Kinnear, Helen McCrory, Simon Russell Beale, and Sarah Greene.
According to the show’s official twitter, the new comic book series will take place six months after the series ended.
