Person of Interest is getting ready for its fifth and final season on CBS, and the network has now released an extended trailer for the season ahead.
The trailer clocks in at more than two minutes, and there is something that fans will notice when they watch the video. There is more of Shaw in the clip. She is played by Sarah Shahi, and she revealed to fans at New York Comic Con that fans will see more of her character in season five.
According to IGN, Shahi promised that fans would see the character return in a “dynamic way.” The season five premiere of the series is titled “B.S.O.D.,” and CBS has released a brief synopsis for the episode:
“Reese and Finch attempt to rescue the Machine’s source code before it deteriorates beyond repair. Also, Root fights for her life against an onslaught of Samaritan’s agents and Fusco is faced with hard questions following the deaths of Dominic and Elias, on the fifth season premiere of Person of Interest.”
Not much else is known about the final season, but those involved with the series teased earlier this year that season five was the best season yet of the drama.
