Sheriff James Brock (Tom Skerrit) tries to maintain order in the small town of Rome, Wisconsin. That isn’t easy considering all of the town’s strange occurrences and equally eccentric residents. Sheriff Brock is married to town doctor and second wife Jill (Kathy Baker). Together, they raise young sons Matthew (Justin Shenkarow) and Zachary (Adam Wylie) and the Sheriff’s teenage daughter from his first marriage, Kimberly (Holly Marie Combs).
