Ryan Dorsey and Jeff Torres have been cast in the upcoming Pitch TV show on FOX, starring Kylie Bunbury as Ginny Baker, the first female MLB pitcher. Pitch premieres on FOX, Thursday, September 22, at 9:00pm ET/PT.

The Pitch TV series cast also includes Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Ali Larter, Mark Consuelos, Dan Lauria, Mo McRae, Meagan Holder, and Tim Jo. BJ Britt and Wendie Malick are also recurring.

Deadline says, “Dorsey will play Tommy Miller. Worried about his career and future with the team, he’s the first player to speak out negatively against Ginny, revealing his misogynistic side. Torres will portray Stubbs, one of Ginny’s teammates on the Padres.”

Fans should remember Dorsey as Earl, from the sixth and final season of Justified. He also played Marty Hammond in a couple of seventh season episodes of The Vampire Diaries.

Torres TV series work includes the pilot of Telenovela, which was cancelled after one season of 11 episodes on NBC. He also appeared in an episode of Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders on CBS. According to the report, he performed in this year’s NBC Diversity Showcase.
