Wendie Malick is joining the team. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actress has been cast in FOX’s upcoming series Pitch.
The drama follows Ginny Baker (Kylie Bunbury), the first woman to play for a Major League Baseball team. The cast also includes Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Ali Larter, Mark Consuelos, Dan Lauria, Mo McRae, Meagan Holder, and Tim Jo.
Malick will play “Maxine Armstrong, a major shareholder of the Padres corporate parent.” Pitch premieres on September 22nd.
