Josh Thomas wants you to keep liking him. In a Huffington Post profile, the Australian comedian said he’d like a season four of his Pivot series Please Like Me but isn’t sure yet if it will happen.
The show, which follows a fictionalized version of Thomas’ personal life as a recently out gay man, premiered its third season earlier this month. A week before, Hulu picked up the first two seasons for streaming.
In the Huffington Post article, Thomas admitted he “isn’t confident he has enough ideas to write a fourth season of Please Like Me.” He mentioned he has plans to travel and generate ideas for a possible fourth season, but nothing is confirmed yet. There were some hints for an ending of season three, however. According to him, it will be very “open ended.”
Thomas, on the ending of season three:
I don’t think we would ever do a proper finale. It’s not really like that. The way it finishes is fine, yeah, but we’d never do a tidy end.”
What do you think? Do you watch Please Like Me? Would you like to see a fourth season?
