Poldark has returned. A new trailer and details have been released for season three of the BBC TV series, Digital Spy reports.
The historical drama, which airs on PBS in the U.S., follows Ross Poldark (Aidan Turner), a British soldier who returns to his English home after fighting in the American Revolution. The cast also includes Eleanor Tomlinson, Ruby Bentall, Beatie Edney, and Jack Farthing.
Season three will feature new characters like the aristocrat Hugh Armitage (Josh Whitehouse), Emma Tregirls (Ciara Charteris), and Demelza’s brothers—”free-spirited rogue Drake (Harry Richardson) and deeply religious Sam (Tom York).”
The new season is expected to debut in the UK this spring. PBS has not yet announced a U.S. premiere date.
