Ryan Murphy has another TV show on the books. Deadline reports Netflix has bought a new series from the American Horror Story creator called The Politician.
From Murphy, Ian Brennan, and Brad Falchuk, the hourlong comedy is rumored to center on a young and wealthy politician from Santa Barbara. Ben Platt is already signed on to play the possible lead, Payton.
Additionally, Barbra Streisand and Gwyneth Paltrow are reportedly in talks to join The Politician on Netflix. If their deals work out, Streisand and Paltrow will also serve as producers on the upcoming series alongside Platt.
