ABC wants to be popular. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the network’s boutique division ABC Signature has just bought the television rights to the book Popular: The Ups and Downs of Online Dating From the Most Popular Girl in New York City.

Written by Lauren Urasek and Laura Barcella, the book follows Urasek’s journey through the hard-to-navigate world of online dating. It was published in October 2015.

The series will be executive produced by Jason Egenberg.
