How do you explain Power Rangers to those unfamiliar? Recently, Bryan Cranston explained his role in the new Power Rangers move to Larry King, Zap2It reports.

Earlier, we reported that Cranston will be playing the rangers’ mentor, Zordon, in the upcoming film. The Breaking Bad actor used do voice work on the original Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers series and even had a character named after him—Billy Cranston aka The Blue Ranger.

In the interview, Cranston revealed some details about his character:

This is going to be a completely different, re-imagined ‘Power Rangers.’ It’s not going to be like the TV series, just like the ‘Batman’ movies are not like the ‘Batman’ television show. Zordon is inside a wall, so I have to break that. He’s a disembodied human being. His spirit is in the ether world. He’s not a physical human.”
