Batman is coming to NBC. Entertainment Weekly reports Adam West will guest star on an upcoming episode of the TV series Powerless.
The DC Comics comedy follows Emily Locke (Vanessa Hudgens), a spunky, young insurance adjuster who specializes in covering regular people against damage caused by crime-fighting superheroes and their villainous counterparts. The cast also includes Alan Tudyk, Ron Funches, Danny Pudi, and Christina Kirk.
West, who already appeared on Powerless as a voice in the pilot, will play “Dean West, chairman of Wayne Industries.” The actor is most known for playing the title role in the 1960s Batman series alongside Burt Ward, Cesar Romero, Burgess Meredith, and Julie Newmar.
NBC has not yet announced whether Powerless will be renewed for a second season or not. Though, it seems unlikely. Ratings for the show’s freshman season have been fairly low so far. However, NBC boss Jennifer Salke recently mentioned the network stands behind the show.
What do you think? Do you watch Powerless? Do you think NBC should renew it?
