Is Powerless on the way out? NBC recently announced this Thursday’s episode has been bumped for a rerun of the new series Trial & Error.
Powerless follows Emily Locke (Vanessa Hudgens), a spunky, young insurance adjuster who specializes in covering regular people against damage caused by crime-fighting superheroes and their villainous counterparts. The cast also includes Alan Tudyk, Ron Funches, Danny Pudi, and Christina Kirk.
Season one of Powerless has been struggling in the ratings. So far, the season is averaging a .81 rating in the 18-49 demo and 2.552 million viewers. Earlier, NBC chief Jennifer Salke said the network is not giving up on the series. However, bumping this week’s episode isn’t a good sign.
The episode of Powerless scheduled to air this Thursday will now debut on March 23rd.
