Something got loose… Watch the Preacher TV series promo, “Seth Rogen is the New Preacher,” a trailer parody of the upcoming AMC series, starring: Dominic Cooper as Jesse Custer; Joseph Gilgun as Cassidy; and Ruth Negga is Tulip. The cast also includes Lucy Griffiths, W. Earl Brown, Anatol Yusef, Tom Brooke, Derek Wilson, and Ian Colletti.

Rogen executive produces Preacher with Evan Goldberg and Preacher TV show-runner, Sam Catlin. Preacher is inspired by the Garth Ennis/Steve Dillon 1990s comics franchise of the same name. Apparently, that is not enough for the Freaks and Geeks vet. Poor noodle.

AMC says, “Seth Rogen wasn’t satisfied with just being executive producer and director of the new AMC original series, ‘Preacher‘, he wanted to be the star. This trailer is what he presented AMC with… Preacher premieres Sunday May 22nd at 10/9c.”

What do you think? Should AMC re-cast the Preacher TV series with Rogen as the lead? Should AMC re-cast Preacher, with you in the title role? Tell us!
