Pretty Little Liars is getting ready for the second half of season six on ABC Family, but the executive producer of the series is already looking ahead to after the series ends – which could happen after season seven.
Marlene King spoke about some post-series plans during a livestream held during Good Morning America’s 40th anniversary event earlier this week.
According to TV Line, she teased that:
“We’ve got some really big ideas for a great movie. It won’t happen right after the series ends.”
It has also been teased that season seven could be the final season of the series, but those involved have not totally said no to the possibility of an eighth season either.
When the series returns with the second half of season six, fans will see a five-year time jump. Zap2It shared photos from the mid-season premiere on Friday.
